Zuzanna Montwill

biophilic design / impact analysis / scenario analysis
Zuzanna is an engineer architect specializing in computational biophilic design. She graduated from Gdansk University of Technology and participated in exchange programs at UC Berkeley and ESAP in Porto. She has worked across various scales on projects in many different places such as Tokyo, Porto and Copenhagen. At Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), she worked in the Copenhagen headquarters where she developed sustainable strategies and performed analyses in support of project architects globally. She has also worked at UNStudio in Amsterdam, focusing on the development of parametric approaches to enhance design efficiency.
Zuzanna’s interdisciplinary work leverages advanced tools such as environmental simulations and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis to ensure the achievement of sustainability goals. Passionate about regenerative strategies, she believes that the future lies at the intersection of computational architecture, biology, art, and technology. In every project, she emphasizes the need to rethink typical building materials and design in harmony with nature in order to improve the world around us.
