Pieter Deschamps

Pieter graduated as a commercial engineer from Solvay Business School (VUB) in Brussels. He has built up extensive experience in the public sector, including as an expert in multimodal mobility development at the National Railway Company of Belgium and the Department of Mobility and Public Works of the Flemish Government. In the private sector, he has worked as a programme manager for diverse mobility providers, including the development of new mobility services within the mobile app of KBC Bank & Insurance.




Pieter is a driven project manager who combines his know-how and network to develop new mobility solutions. His mission is to guide companies, governments and citizens in the transition to a more sustainable, social and future-oriented society, particularly in the field of urban mobility. In his home city of Ghent, he has also co-founded a citizen action lab that set up Living Street experiments (‘Leefstraten’) as catalysts for sustainability and social innovation on the neighborhood level.
