energy / materials
Uldrik graduated as an industrial engineer in civil engineering from HOGENT (University College of Ghent). He started his career as a damage expert, but quickly decided to take a more active role in construction projects. As a site manager at a contractor in renovation works for both private and public real estate projects, he learned the tools of the trade. Afterwards, he worked at an engineering firm specializing in sustainability consulting. Based on these experiences, he now provides practical advice for private and public construction and renovation projects.
Uldrik is a socially driven engineer who uses his knowledge to serve society and likes to further develop best practices in collaboration with others. With a strong focus on circularity, ecological materials and energy efficiency, he loves to make a difference in complex challenges such as the renovation of entire apartment buildings, public buildings and social housing projects. Finally, he also works as a technical advisor, lecturer and researcher at Pixii / Passiefhuis-Platform, a knowledge institution for carbon-neutral construction.
