heritage
Sabine studied civil engineering and architecture at Ghent University. She began her career as an architect with Ro Berteloot, one of Flanders’ leading restoration and renovation architects. She then established her own firm specializing in the restoration, renovation, and repurposing of heritage. With extensive project experience, from the restoration of monuments to the reconversion of industrial heritage, she advises both private and public clients on various heritage projects at different scales.
Sabine enjoys contributing her expertise, both in traditional architectural assignments focused on a building project and in research projects such as feasibility studies, master plans, and heritage management plans. She also advises several local authorities as an independent expert on heritage and architectural quality committees. She has also been a guest lecturer at the Monuments and Landscape Conservation program at Antwerp University College.
